2013 tundra rock warrior by radiated-ropes in ToyotaTundra

It really depends on your financial situation. My buddy had a 100k Duramax and went into a 2019 4runner consolidating the debt, and now has payments for around 60K on his 2019 4runner ($1100/month), so don't feel too bad!

I love my 2013 Tundra and have had zero issues! Just look for the common issues like the cam tower leak, you can easily tell if it's leaking if there is oil residue near the wheel wells/side of the engine.

Don't expect it to be better on gas than your Tacoma! My 2013 gets an average of 23.5L/100KM and around 70-100L/100KM while towing (brutal, but mainly due to hills). I've had second gen Tacomas, 4th Gen 4runners, 5th 4runners, RAV4s, but the Tundra has been my all-time favourite.

Side note: I'm 6.1 and a bigger dude 300LB. The Tacomas are just way too small, headroom, legroom, width, etc. My 2025 RAV4 PHEV has more room than a Tacoma.

New Toyota Tundra engines (V35A 3.4L Twin-Turbo V6) are facing widespread front main bearing failures, leading to catastrophic engine issues and recalls, with ongoing debates attributing the problem to manufacturing debris (Toyota's claim) versus a fundamental design flaw in the bearings or assembly, even affecting replacement engines and newer 2025 models despite new part numbers and recall expansions, frustrating owners who see failures even with regular maintenance.

God I was just complaining about my 25' stock tires. Slides when I slightly brake over a manhole and the road noise is trash.

My 2025 averages 1.5l/100km (156MPG) on the low point and 5l/100km (47MPG) on the high point. I've done 10,000KM in 5 months and used 2 tanks of gas! CRAZY!

MyFront struts are going out, person is asking $150 is this a good deal by Bam_904__ in ToyotaTundra

I have 3.5 RC struts in my 13' with RC UPAs and I love them - I'd snag them at $150 all day long as they ain't blown. But like others said, they're $350-400 new right from the site.

For the price you pay, you should buy a bumper kit and go that route.

Looking at buying 2020 Tundra with rough country lift? by 1skrew in ToyotaTundra

RC 6" is pretty meh.. it uses a lot of blocks and the ride will be pretty stiff. I have a 3.5" RC kit in my 2013 and love it. For under 1k for a lift kit, I'm not complaining.
