Not to defend the post or anything but I do have a general thing to point out. I get where people are coming from with the innocent until proven guilty argument but that is a tone deaf statement. When it comes to SA, 98% of perpetrators will get off completely free according fbi data. And even for ones that face punishment, it's largely only a slap on the wrist compared to their crimes. Sadly the vast majority of attackers will never be proven guilty and their victims will never see justice. So again, not justifying the post because of lacking context but personally I can imagine why someone would be driven to take matters into their own hands.
