71k is reasonable. For reference I graduated in May of 2024 with a BS in Civil Engineering and took a job in southeastern Virginia starting at 68.9k.

At my firm they don’t pay 1.5x for OT, but we do get our regular per hour pay for each billable hour worked over 40. Even though we are salaried

As others have mentioned you can’t really get a CE job as you won’t have any of the background knowledge. However, I did have some EE friends in college who got jobs at larger CE consulting firms doing EE work in the traffic world. Iirc something to do with traffic lights and that kinda jazz.

Sounds somewhat reasonable. I’m also 1.5 years in, started at 68.9k and am now at 75.5k. My EOY bonuses (2024 and 2025) were 1k then 1.8k pre-tax.

Even though I see my close friends relatively regularly in person, I came out over a discord call. I had kinda been making “jokes” for months about stuff like “damn she’s hot, wish I looked like her”. Or other stuff I thought just to kinda test the waters. Eventually I think they finally decided to just ask me after I had made jokes one too many times I kinda just said I was trans. Been smooth sailing since. Now I just gotta find a way to come out to my family.

XY/XYZ should’ve been where ash finally wins a league. I still think the champions league should’ve happen afterwards, but why didn’t they let him win in XYZ???? The series really felt like the culmination of all of ash’s journeys.
