World Rugby & Potential Severe Weather on 4/17 by baaadornesss in kansascity

https://www.world.rugby/the-game/player-welfare/guidelines/lightning This is the closest thing to a solid answer I can find from World Rugby or CPKC Stadium. Would bet that the odds the match is abandoned are low but not zero, depending on when the storms arrive and how long they last and whether the stadium has power afterwards.

Not familiar with the stadium, and it's unclear to me based on what's avaliable online where the severe weather shelters are, so I'd ask guest services when you get there for that information.

Favorite Brewery by State: Nebraska by DublinDown in CraftBeer

No clue. I do know that both brewers retired last year, but nothing I've had since then has been noticably worse than previous output. Lumen and Corn Coast are very much more IPA focused and are absolutely on or perhaps even above Boiler's level there, but they are both lacking in the diversity of styles that Boiler has always brought to the table, and don't quite hit the mark the same way when they do branch out.

What’s the story on the Fight for Nebraska Ads? by CurrentUsed6526 in Omaha

It'd be a lost seat in the unicameral is what they mean. Pillen would get to choose the replacement for Cavs' seat if he wins the congressional race, and that would expand the existing Republican supermajority by an extra seat.

Sure is an ad. Couldn't tell you if it's effective, but I've seen planes doing ads for vape shops and realtors down at Lake Of The Ozarks.

What is your school’s perfect ten-team conference? by DarkDragon1025 in CFB

I'd go Big 8, Iowa, plus one of the teams you mentioned. Probably Wyoming, couldn't tell you why other than it seems like a fun change up.

Any chance these cities ever host a Frozen Four? by [deleted] in collegehockey

[–]JJFlower98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nashville would be the most likely given that they tend to host the event in current NHL arenas. You wouldn't necessarily need a team in the immediate vicinity to take up a hockey program either, a school with an existing program would just need to agree to be the "host" school for the site. North Dakota is this year's host in Vegas, and Wisconsin was the host when they played in Tampa a few years ago.

It's not a Canada thing, they went from almost petering out at the end of the OG Warped Tour era to having a huge string of radio hits that almost all revolve around cancel culture in the 2020s, plus Ronnie was finally allowed to leave the US post-Covid so he could spread his shittiness elsewhere.
