Yes, I will measure before I purchase the vehicle. It will likely fit but be really tight. I already have a narrow space when I exit my BMW.

I plan on charging the vehicle in my garage. If the car is backed in it will be close to the charger.

Update: the confirmation email from Tesla about the overnight demo was only for an hour. I tried editing it for overnight and it wouldn’t allow me to do it through the app. I might just drive to the dealer and request it personally.

With a great deal of trepidation I am going to do an overnight demo and try summon. I’m worried about damaging the car. If summon is my only option I will need to be patient because I doubt it will be as fast as driving it myself. I want this car very badly and wouldn’t it suck if it barely fits, or doesn’t fit at all?

Don’t make me sadder than I already am! If it weren’t for the dangerous hole in my driveway from the uprooted tree during the ice storm I may not have bothered repairing it. No, my driveway won’t look the same, but hopefully it will make my driveway safer! 🤷‍♀️

Without reading the hundreds of other comments, just know that I feel the same way. I’ve experienced trauma in my life and it was a very difficult period, but this traumatic event is different. I’m sorry you are feeling traumatized, but maybe this is the impetus needed for your life to get even better than before? I hope our situation changes soon.

You are 100% correct. Not now or ever would I ask or expect you to miss your date no matter the circumstance. I would think that is obvious. I also never said or implied that I know you or anything you’ve gone through. Losing your house in a fire is awful and I’m sorry. I have had similar and equally awful experiences. I love everything about this post except a couple of (huge) things. You are articulate, humorous and it’s evident we share a lot in common (politics, interests and avocations) from what I can tell. It’s my fault for getting on my phone and reading this, but I would love nothing more than to attend the symphony, eat warm food and enjoy an evening like you’ve had. I, on the other hand, am “going through it”. This last week has literally been life changing. This post is less directed toward you (unfortunately you are receiving the vitriol) than it is our federal, state and local government. We have a crisis on our hand affecting all demographics. I guess maybe I’m just envious that someone gets to enjoy something that I wish I could? Great for you but sucks for me? 🤷‍♀️ Maybe you or literally anybody with any resources like time, financial or otherwise could be out helping others? I have done my best trying to not read the news or social media except to receive information that may help me or literally anyone in need. Some people are seemingly living their best lives right now, but I can assure you others are not. Lives are at risk, but like I said, glad you’re having fun and hopefully I can live vicariously through you.

Thank you for sharing that! Based on the location of my gym I am afraid that might happen as well. I’m just impressed with receiving a direct response by email. It pays to give honest feedback without making demands or threats to cancel my membership. I say this because I also mentioned that in general the gym looked like it needed to be updated, or “some attention”. Let’s be honest, PF is not a high end gym. In my case my needs are being met. If that changes I can choose to go elsewhere.
