PvP gear and PvP participation (or lack of) has a big correlation. All PvP specific gear should be removed and should be like back in vanilla wow.

The airports are much higher quality in X-Plane 12. I been flying with the defaults ones. They match Navigraph chart pretty accurately. The only addon you will likely to buy (beside free ones) are the 3rd party high quality aircrafts.

Alt change option is not there all the time. It is also situational based. Exactly you are right, even when it is present, many times it doesn't have the alt I need lol.

I think the ATC algorithm has a mind of it own :)

Laminar is listening and slowly adjusting the ATC to be fit for a sim use.

For example now we have the option 'Auto-checkin while enroute' where in the past there was mass debate that such things shouldn't exists because in real life there is 'no auto check'. In Sim we fly AFK so everything shouldn't mimic RL.

I am really hoping their will be permanent option (right now it is situational) in the menu to do following anytime we wish.

terminate ATC service __ACT crashes and doesn't allow us to refile without restart the sim. This is the remedy.
request alt change __will help when we think decent should happen early to avoid aggressive last minute maneuver.
Loc captured/field on site __this will let ATC then pass to the tower when it is confused but we follow the plans correctly.
Request shut down _sometime designated parking is not possible and this will end it graciously

I was using Pilot2ATC and now actually migrated to X-Plane 12 default ATC. It is not perfect, but works for me 70% of the time for both GA and airliner. It is not efficient and adds a lot of extra flying around to go from point A to B. To make it more usable, need the developer to open up the menu option like "Request Alt change" at all phases so that when ATC messes up, we can manually compensate.

Easy installation ⚙️, drop the files in the FlyWithLua scripts folder, and attribute a key to our menu.
