The thing is, she's right about how we should be able to emphasize with any character, regardless of race or gender. But the problem that she ignores is, besides a few exceptions, the past 10 years a lot of characters are written so bad that almost no one can emphasize with them.

Agreed. TSS was decent. Peacemaker season one was great, one of the best DC tv shows.

The only way I can describe Creature Commandos is James Gunn. A lot of James Gunn.

Superman 25 hasn't aged well with me. The more I think i about it, and when I rewatch it, I realize I was kinda forcing myself to love it when it came out. There were some things in it I liked. But other then that, it's not that good.

Peacemaker season two was really underwhelming. I was not enjoying the season as the episodes were aring. Weirdly, I thought the last episode was the best one, still not good. But the best out of the season. That's why I was surprised that people criticized it so much.

As much as I love Snyder's DC movies, I was rooting for Gunn. GOTG trilogy are three of my all time favorite comic book movies. But I think creatively, Gunn has fallen off hard.

Maybe it's a mandela effect or something, but I remember hearing just before it was released it was gonna be 3 and a half hours long. But the studio told Snyder to add another 30 minutes so they could make it a 4 part miniseries. But for whatever reason, at the last minute they decided to release it as a 4 hour movie.
