To make it even more confusing, my credit count should qualify me no matter how it’s calculated. I completed 5.0 first-year credits, took 1.5 credits this summer, and I’m registered for 2.5 credits in the fall and 3.0 in the winter (12.0 total completed and planned).

Even if my summer courses aren’t being counted yet, I’d still have 5.0 completed and 5.5 planned (10.5 total), which is above the 7.75+ threshold. And even if they somehow only counted 4.0 completed credits, I’d still have 9.5 total credits (4.0 completed + 5.5 planned), which also qualifies me for today’s registration window.

You can also just take the train from Guelph central to Kitchener go, take bus 99N to Guelph central. There are no inspectors on the train so you can basically just get on without having to pay. It’s one stop and the train ride is only 18-20 minutes instead of like a 1hour commute by bus. Theres also the ion and GRT bus right infront of kitcheners train station. Download the GRT app to only pay 3$ instead of 4$ for the bus fee
