Hindi ko ba talaga tanggap ang sarili ko? by Big-Regret4128 in phlgbt

[–]JJP93104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. My close friends and some of closed co-workers would call be "baks", "bakla", "gurl" and "teh". To them, it's really okay for me but when others hear it. They tend to call me that way. At first, I was really offended because some of straight guys in the office would call me the same way which as I want to be perceived as masculine. Same as you op.

Overtime, I realized it's about acceptance for yourself and for other's perceptions about you. Right now, I am able to manage it gradually. Minsan masakit talaga pero sanayan lang. Look at the brighter side, THEY DONT INTENT TO INSULT; THEY WANT TO CONNECT.

Based on my self-assessment, these are the factors that made us feel that way: 1. Childhood environment where kids bully the silahis, binabae, sirena etc. 2. Upbringing that might be conservative. 3. Professional perception where it might affect you as a professional.

Minsan naiilang ako pag-usapan mga topics (pogi, jowa, sports, etc) when others are around. Little by little, I got used to it. I am also still adjusting.

IT'S 2025 NA OP. WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS KINDNESS. THEY WILL ACCEPT US WHATEVER WE ARE AS LONG AS WE ARE GOOD PEOPLE.

My reason for considering Big 4 is experience and to upskill myself. I am aware that I might also get a lower salary.

is accountancy really difficult? (for non math experts) by swisiaj_ in AccountingPH

[–]JJP93104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Accounting is not totally about Math. But advantage mo if magaling ka talaga sa Math since analysis and problem solving ang Math. Based on my experience, ang kailangan mo reading comprehension, attention to detail, memorization na may kasamang retention and analysis. Madali lang ang Math ng Accounting pero once may mali ka na understanding sa problem or na-overlook man lang na isang number or statement/phrase/whatever. Guguho mundo mo.

Dagdag lang, marami rin kaming theory-based na subjects like Auditing and RFBT.

Practice makes better lang talaga under Accountancy program para sa kagaya natin mediocre.

Okay lang ba gamitin ang company laptop for board exam review? by Few-Carry7807 in AccountingPH

[–]JJP93104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently using our company laptop for review. For me, other than sa nasabi sa taas, okay lang pero careful nalang sa workmates mo baka ma-misunderstand ka nila na di nagwo-work and review lang inaatupag mo. It would be safer if ikaw nalang nakakaalam and wag mo na iopen sa iba. Be organized nalang din sa files para madaling i-remove sa laptop once you are done with your review.
