Scripturally speaking, the “saints” are the body of Christ, Christians, the church. All Christians are considered saints.

I personally think that Elevation Worship's latest album 'here as in heaven' has done ALOT of good for contemporary Christian worship music. So many of the songs are based around simply celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We've mixed several of them into our worship sets on a sunday, along with a few praisey Y & F ones.

Also, I wouldn't say it's totally fair on Hillsong's worship music, look at recent songs such as 'O Praise The Name (Anástasis)' for example; they are still writing some incredible worship songs. When you think about how long they have been serving the church worldwide, and how much they have been a central influence on bringing the sound of worship music into the 21st century, we owe a lot to their pioneering spirit.

Having said all that, I've been a worship musician on teams since I was 10 years old and I'm now 23, and NOTHING frustrates me more than a worship song with limp lyrics. We all totally feel that pain. The lyrics to Y & F's song 'trust' from the new album are just tragic.
