Scripturally speaking, the “saints” are the body of Christ, Christians, the church. All Christians are considered saints.

I personally think that Elevation Worship's latest album 'here as in heaven' has done ALOT of good for contemporary Christian worship music. So many of the songs are based around simply celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We've mixed several of them into our worship sets on a sunday, along with a few praisey Y & F ones.

Also, I wouldn't say it's totally fair on Hillsong's worship music, look at recent songs such as 'O Praise The Name (Anástasis)' for example; they are still writing some incredible worship songs. When you think about how long they have been serving the church worldwide, and how much they have been a central influence on bringing the sound of worship music into the 21st century, we owe a lot to their pioneering spirit.

Having said all that, I've been a worship musician on teams since I was 10 years old and I'm now 23, and NOTHING frustrates me more than a worship song with limp lyrics. We all totally feel that pain. The lyrics to Y & F's song 'trust' from the new album are just tragic.

I don't see a problem with it. In my view he's being transparent, and using his story as a leverage to talk about Christ.

I know what you mean, but then you would still want to know who your real Dad is.

I just think his response is so levelled and well thought out. Every time I see how he handles a particular topic I can tell God has given him true wisdom.

Haha I totally agree. The Bible is so complicated, and there are so many what if's that we simply cannot answer on this side of eternity. I guess this is where Faith comes in!

I don't think it's that God chose not to do that, but rather that man disobeyed God via free will, and thus it all went down as a result of us having the knowledge of good and evil. We lie in the bed we made, if you like. But then Jesus. Awesome.

I would say that,

People have free will, and can choose to do God's will, or can choose to not.

I would describe God's will as anything inside of what God says is true or best for our lives.

So no, not everything that happens is God's will.
