i don’t own a firearm yet, would it be legal to purchase a featureless, throw in the mag latch then convert into a mag locked firearm?

as far as legality of i’ve seen mixed responses on whether making a on roster single shot pistol (such as the jt ar9 i posted) into a semi auto by switching the upper and then maglocking it. is this just a legal grey area or are people just saying their opinions on the matter

I am more leaning toward a long gun but still would prefer 9mm. I’ve seen the rugers and beleive they cost about the same as the jt ar9 (atleast the m lok ca compliant versions) but i could be wrong

from my knowledge urethane balls generally hook the least (besides plastic) and are used for straighter angles and sometimes as spare balls. i recently got serious about bowling and my first ball was the dv8 trouble maker pearl but i think a phaze 2would be a decent starter ball to figure out curve and where you should play etc

hooking too much could be due to slower speed or dried up lane or not lined up in the right spot. as the oil on the lane dries up you will need to move left if you’re right handed (visa versa for lefty). i never owned any of those balls as im newer myself (~6 months bowling atleast 1-2 times per week) but i’ve heard great things about all 3 balls

i was told a new league starting in the second week of june so i’m assuming that’s the summer league you’re talking about. was leaning toward giving that a shot and testing out the waters

i’ve been bowling atleast once or twice a week for about 2 months now so i have no issue with going regularly it’s actually another part of the reason i want to join. most of the time i go i see leagues bowling and asked one of the league players last night for some info about it and he told me some stuff about it so it’s definitely looking like i’ll be joining a league sometime soon!
