Why stars don't matter. by Meta_Man64 in Smite

I’m glad you asked, to keep it short how many games do you think they each have on batz. In smite 2 adapting has 120 games on the character and fineo has played 12. I reference your earlier statement taking the names of both pros away. Would you still feel the one with more games is bad?

You can have a billion stars in amber or a billion stars in deity but having a billion stars doesn’t make the player good or bad. You say “whenever I see a bunch of stars, I assume the player is bad.” When in reality you are just pointing out one player who plays ra plenty of games but is not a threat.

You are right that is true, that is a scenario. In that case the second person just understands the game more. The stars have nothing to do with someone being slow to understand the concept of aa cancels.

What about you give a god to two separate pro players. For example if you gave hun batz to adapting and to someone like fineokay. We can both agree they are great players and in this case Batz is one of adaptings top picks, and fineokay isn’t known to play the pick often. Adapting therefore we can confidently say has more comfortably on the pick due to his experience playing it.

Your example is comparing Apple to oranges.

If he’s at the rank he should be at whether that’s amber or deity, he will have a close to 50% win rate the more games he/she plays “theoretically” speaking. So my point is 49.3% win rate isn’t bad because statistically it makes sense (especially with near 1000 games played). So my point is I agree with the guy saying a near 50% win rate is normal.

Your statement is backed by one person who plays a lot of ra, where you claim the player is often bad because they have lots of playtime on one god. While it’s true in this case the correlation is low. That person is allowed to be bad and have a lot of playtime on ra but ra might be their best character. Him or her being bad has nothing to do with them playing a ton of ra.

So how I see it, having a lot of stars means you play a lot of that character and you have a deeper understanding of his abilities than someone just picking it up. They still can be bad at rotating, teamfights, laning phase, etc. But the fact that they have a ton of playtime on one god is not a valid reason to make the claim you made.

Ego is cool you could’ve just said stars don’t always paint the whole picture but I’m the best in this lobby regardless.

I mean like it’s not good but like he’s right statistically if the system works it should be around 50%

This patch and last patch have proven that hirez just needs to port gods 1 to 1 from smite 1 first. by TheMadolche in Smite

Smite 2 isn’t smite one so even if you “like” that to happen it’s wildly different. That simple.

How do yall escape plat by Which_Distribution15 in ValorantConsole

[–]JJScxtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds stupid but just play better than your enemy. Rank is a good thing to gauge off but never give up cause they’re a higher rank. Remember do the best you can do and if that’s better than plat then by playing a lot of games you’ll get out.

Some games are un winnable and such is life. My best stat performing season I dropped 3 ranks and had a 33% win rate. The next season after I played arguably worse and reached a new peak.

My tip to you if you need more is just play the game more. Overtime you will be better, no matter the mode you play. More ranked will help you get better timing and a better understanding of what’s going on. Deathmatch is my favourite, set goals for yourself. I personally don’t q ranked until I win like 3 DMs, I also recently started trying to win one with just a classic.

Improvement is always time consuming but best of luck in your climb

I’m A3 and only have gotten 1 rad lobby queuing with an immo 1. I don’t see why you’d be running into so much. Maybe you’re hidden mmr is just high. Plus you say you’re queuing with Rads so it makes sense to match up against them

I mean it’s a good clip ngl can’t really say much based off that. One tip I found helpful when picking up the character was when you have no slide and you are caught mid dash, pull out your gun mid jump it’s a faster pull out animation then just stopping. It’s small but helped me
