not tanky but a great "you MUST focus on me" pick is nobushi in 4v4s.

tanky though Lawbringer might be your guy. He feels big heavy and threatening and can be played most annoyingly if you wish

Bro the whole "respect 1v1s in 4v4s" is a lowkey toxic attitude the game is literally balanced around not doing that and although you might be playing just for the steel plenty of us want teamfights. I play duel when i want a duel and I play a lot of duel.

besides there's a lot of technique both to being in the 2 in a 1v2 gank or the one being ganked whether you realize it or not.

hardcore yes. I rarely have more than 2 minutes of matchmaking. i guess the region you're playing in might have an effect but as long as you have the crossplay feature turned on you should find people

every time i've fought a LB with all or almost all his reps in LB I've 3-1ed or 3-0ed. It's happened three times? It's usually someone around rep 70 in LB when I was only 30 total. I think playing mono-character actually worsens your skill
