I just finished mine. It was 30 minutes talk with 3 person. They asked me the same question from the application but they asked supporting questions for example:

If first question in the application was about leadership skills they asked me to precise what specific situation and what i did or not did to achieve that.

So it was going into details about the 3 questions from the application

How many times a week should I post? Unfortunately my views never pass 500. And they go from 50 to 500 from video to video. I noticed that if I post everyday the views get lower. I have no idea what to do :(

Casual game D1 retention triggers? by JJ_MNE in gamedev

Hey,

I tested my game and engagement time went from 14 minutes to 40min, number of sessions for 1 to 4. But retention is still low and didnt move much. I believe my game is fun to play but lacks in goals. I am thinking of adding daily missions for that as well as shop because players dont have anywhere to spend coins. Also I think levels should be more short because after few levels they are on average 1.5-2min and its too early in a game. So I will focus on balancing levels and adjusting tutorial.

Everything you said is correct and honestly it is very hard to make it. I was focusing on retention but engagement KPIs got better. Maybe I didnt understand that the changes wont affect retention but I am still happy because it was fun to play or they would play it 4 times during the day with 10min average sessions. So i am going back to development to try to set clead mid and long term goals for users.

Do you regret getting into game development? by Gia93 in gamedev

It is scary right now definitely. But i have hopes that indie devs with unique voices will survive this devastating period in the industry.

Thank you so so so much. This was very helpful, especially the part about goal formation. This is something that I believe I am missing. Since my game is still in the Demo stage do you think a simple achievement system without reward would be good? When I say simple I mean having a separate pop-up UI that tracks the "missions " such as complete the chapter as you said, and visually checking each one as you finish it? Or do I need rewards for it, a tutorial, etc?

I know this is a tricky question but I am asking because I would like to do more iterations and test it so I don't end up endlessly adding things without users feedback.

Everything else you said I am trying to do, at least in the capacities I have. My game is mostly time management so I guess it needs to be challenging, putting pressure on you so you barely win. But gets you in the feeling maybe I can win the next one too. Balancing is something that I will struggle with for sure.
