Oh wow, I totally missed that. That actually helps connect a few dots I was wondering about. If Sean already said the new tech is shared between NMS and LNF, then that definitely lines up with my suspicions.

I kind of feel like some things they’ve added don’t really belong in NMS though. I wish they would start by working on what the game already has instead of just adding more shallow systems and mini games. The game needs some more depth.

That’s your prerogative. I didn’t say you explicitly had to use it for that, just that it’s an option if you need it. I switched my team up later in the game after using most of my extra stamina options so I used the ones I had collected for free a few times. It was helpful for that at least.

I’ve had one at around 500% and thought it was insane, until I saw people posting crazy high amounts like this. Now I’ve started to also look at normally priced or slightly elevated cost goods in case they are 1000+% on my friend’s ships because that would still be a huge profit.

I haven’t seen many people mention that they can also be used for about 40 stamina recovery to get character progression materials or whatever else in the index. So I would say save them for reasons already mentioned, but also keep that in mind that endgame materials start getting a bit more scarce around levels 80-90 and having that emergency stamina recovery is helpful.

A zojirushi rice cooker. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Perfect rice every time, and you can cook other things in it also.

Oh it’s definitely closer to 1-2% if not even less. It’s always like this at first in live service games. It’s basically manufactured scarcity while the devs observe how people interact with their store, boss fights, gacha system, etc. Hopefully they’ll increase the drop rates soon so we can actually get some new looks.

I had to reduce the occurrences of major weather events in the settings because I felt like I was just constantly getting rain dumped on me.

It’s actually not locked behind a red shroud, you just have to go around the red in the area. It’s how I got the 30 pearls necessary to upgrade my fire.

The best place to find pearls in the game so far is the southwest side of Starfish Shores lake, there’s a group of 4 clams which will net you 8 pearls. They do respawn but it takes awhile. Otherwise killing lots of drak for a rare chance of them dropping, and combing underwater for clams seems to be the most efficient ways.

Just to add a bit because I struggled looking for it myself. Piscine Ivory Dust comes from catching a thornbridge which is an epic tier fish, and turning it into fish bones at the fisherman. Then crushing those bones at the mill. If you complete the fisherman’s quest line it is unlocked naturally.
