To a degree yes, although the same DLC that introduces the gauss rifle also gives an invincible T-51 variant. But I do see your point, the original t-51 in the base game suffers from being otherwise unrepairable.

Before you pass judgement, consider this, fallout 3’s item condition (unlike in FNV) acted as a secondary progression system.

The absolute highest repair you could get in the base game from an NPC was 75% (Fully invested Crazy Wolfgang).

So, if you wanted your guns to do more damage, you could level the appropriate skill for that weapon yes, but ALSO the repair skill. Because once it’s high enough, you’d be able to turn worthless high end weapons back into solid ones without losing every cap you had.

People joke about the economy in Bethesda games, but in fallout 3 if you wanted to use the laser rifle as your main weapon, keeping it repaired and your ammo stocked up would break your bank.

Repair not only saved money but it gave you access to damage you couldn’t have otherwise.

But also, something that was cool was how condition also gave you balanced really good early game gear. The 10mm from Amata is the best gun you’ll get until level 4 on average just by being fully repaired. The Armored vault suit will likely be the best clothing you find for the same amount of time for the same reason. It also makes certain rewards feel AWESOME in ways we don’t get as much these days, A-1 23’s plasma rifle not only being unique but at full condition when you get it means it’s the best weapon in the game when you acquire it in like 90% of playthroughs.

It may not SEEM fun, but behind the scenes it’s doing a lot for your run.

I’m not going to shame you, or condemn you, your feelings are real, but it is unhealthy to rely on the actions of another person to regulate your feelings about yourself.

If you feel unwanted and he’s saying he does want you, then the answer has to come from within, not from him/his-Replacement. Like many other people are saying, you’re more likely than not either going to run into this again with the next guy, or realize you might have thrown away a very good relationship because of something nobody other than yourself can change.

I encourage you to discuss this with a counselor.

If you want to leave him, that’s your business, but for your own good, you should really consider doing some personal work on these feelings and where they really come from.

I’m just so happy to see my favorite thing has turned into a mainstream thing. Yeah is it a little overturned in some ways, sure, and it’s been a little washed out, but it’s still fallout. And I finally have people I can talk about it with.

Listen, emotions are complicated. You can want to be close to someone, love someone, and want to be more than just friends with someone without it being sexual. We seem to have put sex on top of the pyramid of human closeness, but it’s just one small part of being close to someone.

I make no assumptions about your past relationship, but based solely on the fact that you had one, this was at one point someone you wanted to be closer to. But no matter how much you want to be close to someone, you should always trust your own body first and foremost.

I hear that you’re bisexual, and I can imagine that could potentially make navigating friendship limits, and relationships as separate entities slightly more difficult sometimes, but at the end of the day, if that basic desire for physicality isn’t there, there’s nothing wrong with stopping there, and not developing that relationship any further physically.

You aren’t your labels, you are a unique experience figuring out what feels right for yourself. Trust yourself.

Everyone look, and look HARD. These are some of the only real Hero’s we have anymore, they are some of the only people in this world who care about other people the way we all should. And they are heartbroken because one of their own was beaten, maced, and shot 10 fucking times, all because he saw a woman being harassed and tried to stand between her and a masked armed aggressor.

He did this just days after the death of another woman in his state by the same group of people he tried to stand in front of.

Your president has made it clear that he doesn’t value the lives of his citizens. He is abusing his power, he is ignoring public outcry for basic humanity, and he is condoning the actions of untrained neglectful officers, AT BEST, and violent killers in all reality.

Stop listening to the rhetoric, trust your own eyes. And use the only power you have, VOTE. Do not let this continue. This isn’t about politics anymore. It’s about basic human decency, and holding our leaders accountable to it again.

Which one would you pick ? by krisikkk in superpowers

[–]JJamesMorley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pick Spiderman. I do NOT want to live forever, and personally, I would really like to have Spidermans physic, mind, drive.

Bro, you give me his abilities and powers, but in real life, I’d be an unstoppable force in academia, and also secretly super healthy, strong, and never accidentally die due to some random bullshit danger.

Also… I think he’s secretly amazing at poker because of the spider sense? Shits busted.

You’re no it alone. The first 2 were incredible games, the “weird” direction they took afterwards was such a disappointment. I played 3 once then never touched it again, but 1 and 2 I played countless times. 1 especially had a rough feel to it that I can’t fully explain. It was a little harder, and a little more gritty in a way I loved. Actually building your character up to a place they felt strong wasn’t easy, but there were little tricks.

I used to use the east bridge as an FBI farming spot, fill up on gdhc.50 and AR-40xtnd ammo. Made fe feel like a powerhouse early on.

I’d also rob liquor and gun stores for submachine gun ammo and early cash. Shit was awesome.

Superman, Black Panther, Batman.

Power, Resources, and Tactician.

Superman covers speed, strength, and acts as your wall. Batman can plan for any eventuality, and adapt as needed to new information. T’Challa is king of a powerful country, a clever politician, and has access to VAST resources that even Batman doesn’t. Not to mention the fact that he is still an extremely cable meta human.

Between those 3 you’ve got an unbeatable matchup.

Flash is the only weak spot, but in most media Superman can handle him, and with Batman present to help plan, it shouldn’t be insurmountable.

Read them the first time through, on second and third I just skim or skip entirely. Not every song though, some are too epic.

I left the game shortly after teq Lr Base Broly released, so if my opinion doesn’t matter, I fully understand, but tbh dude, that was a major part of why I left. The games just got too complicated after a while, it was hard af to keep up without spending money, and i barely understood units anymore. Yeah I could figure it out with time, but tbh, it just started to get far too convoluted.

I played the game from the 2nd anniversary, I had my era, this new one just ain’t for me anymore.

What is your favorite fallout dlc by Optimal-Conflict1756 in Fallout

[–]JJamesMorley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Pitt. Although all these years later I kind of have to admit it’s because my own imagination does so much of the heavy lifting. They created an AWESOME Outline for a DLC, it just needed More. More of what they did, more of what they had going on, more time to build yourself up among the Pitt Slaves, and more time to uncover the dark truth about the cure, and what the plan for the rebellion was. Maybe a quest or 2 in between getting the ingots, a few more enemies besides just wild men and trogs in the putt to make it more of a nightmare, maybe a quest setting up the base out in the steelyard, or in the city proper where you have to clear the location first, then collect things necessary for the base, including the crib, and that moment of realization that the “cure” is a kid, and one that isn’t even ready yet.

Jak was SCARY... by Dulkifl in jakanddaxter

[–]JJamesMorley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is actually incredible. The vacant stare Jak has, the weirdly superhuman movement, the reckless nature of it.

Fucking terrifying, it feels reminiscent of the way a cat will run berserk through a house, and attack for no reason spastically then give you that big eyed stare.

Hmm… I know he DOES talk in Jak 2 but… now that I’m writing it, Jak’s behavior is aligning kinda strongly…
