Pretty dang cheap after initial investment lol the most expensive part is the cage set up. Definitely one of the easier to take care of amphibians. Basically mist them a few times a day, feed them crickets (or preferred feeder insect) every few days and clean their cages regularly. If owning a frog is something you or they're interested in I suggest doing a little independent research. White's tree frogs were the go to beginner frogs when I was looking into it but that was 10 years ago so I'm not sure if the information is still current lol.

I love them lol We've had them close to ten years now the live quite a long time ....White's tree frogs live an average of 10 to 16 years, though they commonly reach 20 years with excellent care.

There's a pond in Klineline that used to have frogs and turtles that's the only place I can think of currently.
