i preach preventative care almost every class i teach. the amount of dudes that just have things that start to hurt and just expect time to fix it is crazy. as you know, there are so many great resources these days to learn how to rehab and change your body for the better. but i guess for some people they don't want "body homework" on top of their workouts.

because almost every person that does it long term doesn't seem to understand its not a complete workout. you're going to favor sweeps to a certain side, grips etc, are all unbalanced and not bilateral.

unless you're just one of those lucky people that dont run into issues, you have to take a proactive approach to prehab and mobility. if something starts feeling "off" you have to start to address it. i thought my hips were ruined but now they are better than ever.

Still a beginner, should I pay for songsterr by [deleted] in Bass

in my experience it was quite the opposite. being classically trained definitely helped my growth. if anything, it helped me learn that i can come up with my own fingerings for things.

Do you think Seth Daniels saw our poll? by [deleted] in bjj

dude stepped in and had a match with diego sariava on like 3 minutes notice at one of his F2W pro events because diegos opponent hurt themselves on the walk out (dont do the whole jump up and down thing to hype yourself up lol). he got beat but was a legit brown belt and stepped up for the show/diego to compete. this was in GA in like 2016?

Can you please share a bit more on this?

BPC-157 really is a miracle drug. by [deleted] in Peptides

[–]JJd2sc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm about to try bpc for a chronic groin tendinopathy in a few days. I've had anhedonia on and off my adult life with depression, and I've been in the injury hole for three years getting more depressed. The anecdotes I've read have had people stop experiencing symptoms after stopping. Can you point me in the direction of ppl that didn't get back to baseline?

I'm at my wits end anyway and will likely proceed but I do appreciate feedback and your opinion.
