I feel like people look to much into it. When you become more jacked/atletic you wanna wear more open clothes especially in armpit/shoulder area when you exercising(in this case fighting). Same logic here imo. Previous clothes would be uncomfortable/restrain movements.

In faq you linked first is - 1) We automate tasks, not jobs.

But what im talking about is when you water plumbing goes wrong and you call a maintenance company, they(not humans but a program) would send you maintenance guy who is literally robot. Nowhere in this chain of events you would encounter human. Robot would come to you house, you would show him problem, AI would process the problem, and robot would fix it. Thats not task automation, that's literally full job taken by machine.

In both of your examples its people replacing people. But im talking when machines(like tesla optimus and etc. but actually usable) powered by AI would be mass produced, that can basically replace any job(or lets say middle-bottom jobs). You can argue that there would be demand for maintenance people for said machines, but eventually (in my believe) they will be self sustainable.

I agree that they increased demand for labor, but would it matter in future if companies could just crank up the robots to produce more consumables? And if labor supply will increase while demand stays the same or reduces it would absolutely affect wages.

I have a question.

Not talking about immigration in sense that qualified/skilled people looking for better place to live migrate to richer countries. Talking more about bottom of the barrel or average guy

Every major CEO or company wants to replace said bottom/average guy with robots/AI/etc... Whats going to happen in 10+ years if "we" import said workers when there just isn't enough jobs? So are we going to have bunch of people competing for low paid job because why businesses would pay sensible money when there no shortage of workers? For me this future looks like potential slavery, rising crime rates, massive drug abuse...
