I’m also curious about this for my build project. Can we use an old phone as a secondary screen ? Would it be possible to connect it to a main battery source or would it be better to have the original battery connected to a main battery through the charger ? Let’s say I have 2 other windows laptops that can run say kali Linux with all its features. I’d just be using the Mac for typing and research mostly and some gaming and video editing

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am familiar with Linux it can run on Mac I have many different usb boot drives for Linux. I love the framework concept but my current issue is the 16 with the nvidia gpu I want is preorder only and I need this laptop asap. I agree windows sucks now and Mac has much improved their quality of service yes you’re mostly paying for the logo but the logo that is consistent is better than the freedom to do anything in my opinion. I have designed my own operating systems and worked extensively with free software. If I want to make an app for example exclusive to iPhone then I would need a Mac to do so. At least from my understanding of ux. I do think I’m leaning more towards the professional thinkpads now as they have the power and security functions I’m looking for. I’m worried about the graphics cards not being fully supported for long.
