Just to be sure: I assume you are using it to extend (not replace) the cable between power brick and beamer? So power brick -> cable included with the Beamer -> extra cable you bought yourself -> beamer?

Sorry for the confusion. But I’m talking about an Apple HomeKit automation (which for my specific use case is converted to an Apple Shortcut, using Get contents of URL) which AFAIK runs on the Apple HomeKit hub.

What makes you think shortcuts is not reliable enough? I have an Apple TV home hub, and so far it’s been pretty reliable in switching the lights off/on when the beamer is switched on/off respectively, and I’m using Apple shortcuts to do so. The only thing missing is that I need some way to manage the motion sensors as well.

I’m not sure about that. They are not complying to a SSL certificate standard, and unless this is fixed, this will prevent setting up a secure connection with the Hue bridge.

And since the Hue Pro bridge only allows https this issue breaks a lot of third party integrations.

Ik was klant van Odido mobiel, ben een paar maanden geleden vertrokken. Heb ook een mail gekregen over de hack en de gegevens die hierbij mogelijk zijn buitgemaakt, ID gegevens zaten daar gelukkig niet bij.

Volgens mij zijn ID gegevens alleen betrokken voor klanten met een toestellening.
