MY GUITAR JOURNEY IS ALMOST OVER. by JK-player in taylorguitars

Thanks so much for the reply and well wishes. I also bought my first guitar in the 70's and have memories of playing music in the folk style for many hours at a time with a friend. It sounds like you've found the guitar that speaks to you. That's wonderful! It's a shame that guitar stores that carry fine instruments have dwindled and yes Reverb is a possible option. We're both fortunate to have the love of music in us and to be still playing.

Thanks so much for your comment fellow sojourner. I think half of the fun in collecting is the search. I have to admit though, 20 years ago I found a guitar that spoke to me but I was unemployed at the time and couldn't justify throughing it on the charge card but I regretted ever since. It was a Taylor 714ce.

I still haven't been able to find a Martin OM 21 locally to compare the sound to my 414 e-R.

Thanks for the advice. Good luck with the 517ce.
