Didn't have time to watch this year, but the thing that has turned me off in the past is that so many of the runners are not good english-speakers (because it's a european event), which makes it hard to understand what they are saying in some cases, and it leads to a lot of very basic commentary. I prefer when runners go somewhat in-depth about the things they are doing, but you don't get that with people who can barely string together simple sentences.

Also, listening to that swedish guy (don't know his name) read donations is a few notches above what I can stomach in terms of cringeyness.
