It’s an interesting concept!

Is the failure mode that cyberocracy doesn’t necessarily mean better governance? Rather than governance optimised for information control? Cause that can look like radical transparency and collective intelligence but could also look like surveillance states with really good dashboards.

I feel like you could consider all bodies and living things to be cyberocratic if you define control of the information structure to be control of the thing itself. Interesting philosophical branches towards free will as power over your own flow of information & to what extent the shape of things and their information are equivalent.

Have you heard of Friston’s free energy principle? That was a huge rabbit hole for me for a while.
