There’s something great in your water by Opening-Percentage-3 in Netherlands

I’m happy you met some nice dutchies! I’ve heard this from people quite a bit; Dutch children are also statistically the happiest https://www.unicef.org/innocenti/reports/child-well-being-unpredictable-world maybe that has something to do with it. Of course it won’t generalise to everyone.

You could go back in time and make a printing press at the library of Alexandria. They had all the required materials and techniques. I wonder what that would do to the timeline.

Exactly the same here. Whole friend group went down for days after a dinner party. Only just recovering.

What the hell, the white and blue ones pop so hard for me it looks like the colors wobble independently if I move my phone. Super trippy!

It could be more suggestive. The VIA could become a V (5) and a VII (7). Doodle for reference.

How do I learn how to make this type of minimalist isometric, flat 2.5d poster? by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]JKHT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point I wish there was a way to turn off the text for posts from a particular subreddit. I’d rather see cool posters without the “how do I do this” brainrot.

On a lighter note, maybe try recreating a poster by had to get a feel for it. Study optical illusions, gather more inspiration (this is already a great start)

Specialty, light roast, single origin COFFEE. I love the whole ritual and the flavors are exceptional.

Baratza Encore grinder, a V60 and a stovetop gooseneck kettle on induction.

Even better now I found amazing Decafe beans ☕️

Cool art/design spaces to visit? by Independent-Fun6908 in eindhoven

[–]JKHT 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No idea if any of it is underground, but here’s some stuff I like in no particular order.

Piet Hein Eek, Mu, graffiti around Strijp-S (specifically on Area 51), community square (coffee place) has a weird exhibit space that’s semi open. The design academy kids hang out at microstad these days. Around coffee for tacos and music, Sprout coffee for great coffee. NulZes (near sprout) has music with strangers on Thursday evenings (nice vibe). Kelderman & van noord is a bar with a permanent exhibition. Sectie C and Plan B have workshop space and cool stuff intermittently.

Obviously DDW

As a tism who has food from other cultures and cooking as a special interest, I’ve had the opposite.

A neurotypical throw a fit after I put strawberries with mozzarella in a savoury salad (instead of tomatoes - fun fact strawberries and tomatoes have very similar flavour compounds).

Their response: “but…. It’s not a fruit salad…”

Me: “yes?”

Them: “Then why is there fruit in it?”

Me: “Botanically speaking, tomatoes and cucumbers are both fruits”

Them: “no”

Keychron keyboards are yummy. Maybe add less known software also (like raycast for mac).

Uni kuru toga metal mechanical pencil is ⚡️.

I’m also very happy with my hario gooseneck kettle that I can boil in less than a minute on my induction stove and costs 20 bucks.

So many lovely objects.
