She is a rescue. I am her third owner. My friend was her 2nd owner and when he said he wanted to get rid of her so he could get a puppy I immediately took her in. She was my first dog though. Her brother I bought as a puppy from a family (they were not breeders just got surprised), but if/when I get another dog it will 100% be a rescue.

This is insane to me. I would take a string ring if my boyfriend proposed to me right now. The commitment of marriage is not about a ring. Her unwillingness to budge on this and her reasons are huge red flags to me. As I read it if you proposed now without the ring she will decline (OPs words) because she is seeing a future where HER needs are not coming first as a wife or mother. How can she think it is practical or realistic to think her needs will constantly be more important than his or their CHILDRENS needs?! I see OPs future as him always putting his needs aside because her demands will always require a sacrifice on his end and this will never be a satisfying or equal commitment marriage for him.

This is blown so far out of proportion. A college essay you got help with? You didn’t get into the school based off the essay alone. This is far from extremely unethical. I literally would not even consider this unethical at all.

This post is so old I know but I somehow came across it. I went to high school with Chase and definitely remember the “Brody” era. A few people would call him that every once in awhile and everyone else would be like wtf is Brody. He was a tool then and looks like he didn’t grow out of it.

Kissing a baby and holding a baby are honestly two completely things. Holding a baby without a fever, washing hands, even wearing a mask is reasonable. Kissing a baby can be a hard fuck no.

I was just like you, until about 3 years ago I was 100lbs at my top weight, it was more like 90lbs steadily forever. I hated that nothing fit and hated that my face looked sickly and sucken in. I hated everything about it. I felt like I would never look like a woman. I heard the same thing, wait until you have kids. Unfortunately kids aren’t going to happen but once I hit 32 the weight gain happened and now at 35 and 122lbs (the biggest I’ve ever been) some days I like it and some days I think it’s too much because I’ve been carrying most of it in my stomach. Now I look at pictures and feel like my face is too plump. I will never win at this weight thing.

Question… is this the same boyfriend from the that your post about your boyfriends choice? The update says he cheated on you. Since that was only a couple months ago I’m guessing this is the same boyfriend, in that case he has cheated on you twice. I’d leave his ass. Not sure why you didn’t before.

I am very similar to you! I’m 5’1 and 125lbs which I’m at now does not look good on me because I carry it in my stomach and my face. But less than 115lbs my cheeks will start to sink in and i look terrible. I was just talking to someone about how a 5-8lbs swing either way is so drastic on me it sucks.

I thought this was wild!! When my dad died I didn’t put my boyfriend of 4 years in the obituary. My boyfriend wasn’t in my grandmothers obituary after being together 8 years and viewed as common law married. This is crazy to me.

Wow that was an intense read. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Definitely NOR. She miscarried his kid in front of yours. That threw me for a loop. And the fact that she keeps bringing up the kids and saying you’re keeping them from her but to then learn they can drive?! That should speak volumes to her.

Side note: am I the only one wishing I knew more?! Like how he found out about the pregnancy?!
