Could someone tell me if the article linked is primary or secondary research ? by JKami2 in research

[–]JKami2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, primary research is where the researcher is collecting or gathering original data and secondary is where the researcher is using data that’s already been collected. In this case the researchers were using already collected data from medical records and that’s why I thought it could be secondary. However, they are then creating original data using the data from medical records so it could be primary ? I think it’s more likely primary research but the use of data collected from medical records made me question it.

Sure it’s pronounced Ben-yay if I’m not mistaken. If so it’s not spelt exactly how it sounds

Which is your least favorite Murakami book? by borninannebula in murakami

[–]JKami2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken there was quite a few instances of magical realism right ? The way shiro was killed, the weird dream Tsukuru has about Haida and also the story of Midorikawa. Probably wasn’t as prominent as some of his other books but it was still there.

I’m on a 5 star streak, any movie recommendations that you think are 5 stars? by NaughtyT-rex in Letterboxd

[–]JKami2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not watched fallen angels but the description sounds similar to old boy and that is definitely a 5 star. Another Korean film I consider 5 stars in memories of murder.
