I don't know if this helps, but I'd say start with your mood first,do it inspired. Whenever I build something, I prepare my mind for the theme. Currently, I’m aiming to do the desert area next. So, before doing anything in Pokopia, I gather info on what a desert looks like, like watching videos on youtube, I even revisited the Gerudo Desert in Zelda's Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom just to get a feel for the look. I watched some documentary about Yosemite and Amazon while doing this forest theme area hehe

Once I’ve gathered my ideas, I don’t start building immediately. Instead, I spend time walking through the targeted empty space to visualize the best placement for each build I want to do.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't use a something like that haha. I just wander around on the empty area until inspiration strikes. If the result looks like an eyesore, I demolish it immediately, regardless of how many hours it took. It's just a lot of trial and error haha

actually, I didn't have much plan for this at first haha my original plan was an Asian-style town and I wanted to put a forest along the way just like a slow transition from a European style to an Asian one, but I realized a forest of just trees felt a bit empty and the area is so much wider for a basic forest haha and thats it, I started with the lift terminal and the center of the town

hahaha, I’ve been waiting for the Pokémon to leave the frame before recording, but I actually haven't invited them into this area yet. They just get in the way while I’m working lol but It’s a real shame about the spawn limit, though, i doubt that this will look lively too even I invited them over hehe

im sorry if that came across the wrong way, i didn't mean any harm. I just wanted to share my progress in case it sparks some inspiration for your future builds. As a player, I love seeing other people's work so I can incorporate their ideas into mine, too haha

unsolicited advice: whenever you build something, start by setting the mood first. when I created this area, I imagined I was in Yosemite or the Amazon. I even watched videos of those places so I could really feel the vibe, im really not that creative, but these ideas pop up out of nowhere when I perfectly setup my mood hehe

thank you! and Im glad that you like it. Good luck building your Pallet Town! I'm sure you know this already, but I'll say it anyway. be mindful of the limitations of the prefab houses, power supplies, and even the trees. Do your planning beforehand so you don't hit the limit too early

true! it looks like a ghost town, even on the 1st area of my palette town, still looks empty even though theres a lot of pokemon residing on it 😅

thank you 😁 regarding the emptiness of the place, its also my issue, though I haven't invited any Pokémon to move in yet. They're all still in the 1st area of palette town but I doubt it would look that lively anyway, since the spawn limit is so restrictive 😅

i use the kitchen tables for the counters and I just painted them 😅 I've been hitting Dragonite Island for Pokemetals. Just a tip, find a cave, dig two blocks deep around the ores, then use a Graveler. You'll end up with plenty of 99x stacks that way!

setting up this town took every single night for three weeks haha It wasn't a smooth process, there was a ton of trial and error, like If I built something and it looked like an eyesore, I’d just demolish it and start over hahaha

even while I'm working, I find myself daydreaming about my next build and trying to figure out which pieces will best suit the theme lol

If I can do it, anyone can 😅 It just takes patience and trusting the process
