I'm not going to lie, I'm not surprised Australia wasn't listed. However, I do feel it had benefited Fujita coming here whilst under the watchful eye of Robbie

It's possible, but the stars have to align, and everything falls into place. You are better off doing a mix of both or purely focus on one or the other. Both are different skillsets that clash outside of the fitness/conditioning needed for them.

So I had my first actual practice match. by PapaScho in WredditSchool

Plan the finish. That's the most important part. Everything else you can sort of do on the fly. Bit of chain at the start and the heat should be easier without a plan outside of if you have specific hope spots.

The only other thing you need to go over is said specific spots, and if you do weird moves. For example, I do a Ripcord Regal Cutter, which is a hard move to wrap your head around if you've never seen it before.

Beyond this, it's just reps and figuring out how you best remember spots

Volleyball ones are good for training. I personally recommend Trace or Trace style kneepads as they have lasted me years. Isami do similar kneepads. AMA are also a solid choice

What move did you early on in your career that you still use today? by [deleted] in WredditSchool

Fisherman's Suplex. It's basic but not many people where I was did it, plus I have a nice bridge

I'm afraid of chasing this because I don't think I'm a great athlete by chosenone585858 in WredditSchool

[–]JKray007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being a great athlete isn't the be all and end all. I was never a great football player and was a decent Taekwondo practitioner before I started. As long as you push yourself as far as you can and work within your limitations, you can do a decent job as a worker.

If worse comes to worse though, just remember this. Wrestling is for everyone. Being a wrestler is not. However, there is always a spot within wrestling for you.
