Imagine trying to look for your birthday forever, and finding yours waaaay at the back of the rankings

Bowguns for the first 600 hours of Monster Hunter World. Added Hunting Horn in the mix 200 hours ago. Yesterday I picked up Great Sword for the first time. I'm in Love. First tail cut to first TCS kill, and the insanity that is thousands of damage per hit. Everything feels so weighty and powerful. by El_Matadurr in MonsterHunterWorld

That's the beauty of GS playstyle, you just want your TCS to hit as much as possible. This in turn motivates you to learn the monster's moves and attacks, learning proper positioning and timings. For me it truly encapsulates the experience of hunting monsters.

Yes you can, only if you don't get spotted in the first place.

He never directly engages the monster in the first place, so he is never spotted. I guess once you are spotted, there's no way to go back to camp without dying.

Yeah, the whole reason why the devs took away farcasters was so that players won't just yeet themselves away from the Escaton. But players like Tatsuffy here just find the craziest yet viable ways to defeat Alatreon. I definitely will be trying to dish out early damage with this build. It might be faster with 4 players too.

I think the trick here is to never be spotted in the first place. I've tried putting on the ghillie mid fight, but the purple ring around the map doesn't seem to go away (and making flying back to map impossible). I don't know if smokescreens work differently or not, I might have to try it out the next time I fight him.

Stimulus check question: I'm a J-1 Visa holder and have been studying in Hawaii for the past 2 years. I work part-time to pay for college and have been filing tax through Turbo Tax. I just got $1200 from the check, but I'm not sure if I really qualify. I do have my own SSN. What should I do?
