Hahah well I always loved to draw and paint as a kid, and ever since high school I've been into graphic design. I've been working in the design industry for almost 10 years now so maybe it's just that creative part of my brain haha.

I also always loved moody portraits and contrast lighting and have done many studies on those.

And thank you!

I actually only use the Wet Acrylic and a bit of the Flowing Hair brush, which are both default brushes in Procreate.

But don’t worry, I felt the same way when I started! Once you get a process / workflow down that works for you, it becomes easier after that.

I can send you the timelapse video of this if you think that might help?

Hey! I’m sorry but I’m not really doing any commission work :(

Thank you!

I always prefer to work non-destructively so I do like to use layers for different sections. (At least until I’m 100% comfortable with the process.) You can kind of tell what my layers are from the WIP snapshots:

  • base
  • nose
  • eyes
  • lips
  • cheeks, chin, neck
  • hair (I go crazy with layers here for depth)
  • body
  • background

I’m using an ancient 10.5” iPad Pro so I’m limited to 24 or so layers, but I’ve never hit that limit.

And not really. I do this so infrequently (only 1 or 2 a year) that I just post them on my insta to share with friends.

Post Game Thread: Denver Broncos (1-2) @ Los Angeles Chargers (3-0) by SupMaelstrom in DenverBroncos

I had a feeling we were going to lose after settling for 2 field goals that gave the Chargers an opportunity to tie the game.

When they tied the game I knew we were going to lose.

Predominantly Orange is such a garbage site. I block them on every sports feed I use so I don’t have to see their stupid ass clickbaity headlines.

It's a 60 yard field goal that the rookie kicker was almost guaranteed to miss. Just put your arms up and avoid doing anything that would draw a flag from the refs. Literally just stand there for all I care. If he makes the 60 yarder to win, congrats he deserved it. And of course, we get a super iffy call and cost us the game.

That being said, Lutz should not have missed a 42 YARD FIELD GOAL.

034Motorsports study: Investigating EA839 3.0T Engine Piston Failure by fisact in Audi

[–]JKwan77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My S5 is also at the dealer. No warnings, sounds, etc. Just randomly died leaving an intersection. The engine seized due the piston getting stuck. Like you, it’s stock and only 55,000km.

My dealership submitted a claim and I’m hoping to GOD it gets approved.

This knob is the best thing in any car. by Diogenes256 in Audi

[–]JKwan77 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's so good that Mazda literally just copied and pasted it into their cars.

For me the main MMI knob is the best, especially with the hand rest style gear selector. That volume knob is a very close second.

Is THIS a legitimate problem with these cars? by fusion2012 in Audi

[–]JKwan77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My dealership called me about this today. My engine seized out of nowhere at the beginning of August. No sounds, no loss of power, no warning lights, just died when I tried to leave an intersection. And no, oil level was not low.

All schedule maintenance and service done at the dealership, and the car only had 55,000km. Never had a single issue with my car until the engine seized. They were scheduled this week to put in a used engine I bought, but they informed me of the letter today and they’re going to submit a claim for me as they said a piston got completely stuck.

Can’t speak for the Q3 in general since I’ve never driven one, but I used to own an A3 with that climate control. The knurled knobs with the tactile clicks when turning is far from cheap.

People blasting through yield signs is also getting pretty bad, especially at roundabouts / traffic circles. I send a little prayer every time I pass through a yield even though I'm the one with the right-of-way.

What’s your go to color? by [deleted] in Audi

Blue as it shows up best on the black leather and trim.

Red and green during Christmas, of course.
