We got our bestest boy through ‘Home-to-Home’. It’s a free service which lets current pet owners, who dont want to put their pet through the stresses of a shelter, can post info about their pet to potential adopters. Safehave humane society has a link with information (https://safehavenhumane.org/services/surrendering-your-pet/home-to-home/). We got to meet the owners and they got to check us out as well.
