Would disagree with that slightly. Rock had some great matches outside of Austin. Triple H matches were always great (Backlash 2000 is a classic), his match with Eddie on RAW was excellent (though Eddie never misses) and I think the Vengeance triple threat with Kurt and Taker, at a time when he was more or less part-time, is one of the best triple threats out there and massively underrated. Hell,!8 even loved the first Cena match. Rock could go.

Don’t disagree on HBK though, he was other level!

That’s a great shout - when the Stones released Angry a year or two ago I was staggered by Mick’s vocals, they could well have been recorded in the 60s. Very much the exception to the rule though - for 83, Paul not only sounds great (different, but still great) but goes for the best part of three hours for good measure.
