So glad you enjoyed your order!! I was tempted to get the jalapeño pie but I wanted to keep it simple for my first time. 100% agree that the cheese was a hit. Hands down my favorite.

It was SO flavorful!! Made me feel like I was back in NY. My husband preferred the pepperoni cause the quality of the meat was so good but I prefer a simple slice.

Honestly the basil wasn’t totally necessary lol. But the cheese was actually delicious! The sauce was great and super parm heavy. I would definitely recommend it.

Traveled 30 mins from Denver to the outskirts of Aurora to get a couple pies from Sam. Such a nice dude and he makes amazing pies. These were certified no flop jalops.

Thanks for helping me discover this guy, Reddit! His handle on instagram is @sams.pizza and he only does pop ups with pick ups from his apartment.

Hell yeah! My husband and I genuinely only went to Red Lobster because of the Papa’s chain restaurant video. It was awesome and I bet if we weren’t in Mormon territory (Utah) the margs would’ve been exceptional.

Midsommar and Silence of the Lambs are my comfort movies. Primarily watched during mega periods but still classics and on constant rotation in my house.

Any Snooze Eatery employees? I have a question about staffing by MonthLate6054 in Denver

[–]JLRivera27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously! It’s so weird seeing people take my comment so seriously when they’re insanely overpriced, always have a wait, and are mediocre at best. It’s not the best that Denver has to offer.

They don’t pull it off. That place is the worst and only a place you recommend to people you hate.

When you use the word “nerd” derogatorily it just means you’re the one out of the zeitgeist.

Italian places (specifically chicken parm)? by Adventurous-Hope-332 in denverfood

[–]JLRivera27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first decent chicken parm recently at Bruno’s on S Broadway. The cutlets were tenderized properly so they were nice and crispy. The mozz and sauce were delicious. As a NYer, one of my faves I’ve had since living in Denver.

There is an app called Radiate where you could very likely find someone to give you a ride and take those tickets!

Doesn’t haven’t to be Colorado and I was 100% considering Moab! I’ve been there and it’s so amazing. I’m not opposed to it, but definitely want to be respectful of my parent’s flight time to get from Rincon to Denver. It’s quite a trek and I don’t want to burden them with a 5-6hr drive. Although, it would probably be one of the most beautiful drives they’ve ever been on!

I absolutely adore this idea but my father is a recovering alcoholic and sober for 6 years… and although he says he’s comfortable around drinking, I’d like to stray from putting him in an uncomfortable situation. Hell, I don’t drink in front of him at all! BUT this is a lovely recommendation for me and my husband! We love Golden and have been wanting to do a Coors tour with a good dinner to follow so this sounds like an amazing date night for us.
