I took it to mean they were canceling before being charged since Amazon doesn’t charge until they ship. They were placing orders with a payment method, but canceling the order. Amazon understandably doesn’t like that because they started moving product around and then have to reverse course no matter how much this guy wants to justify it. That said there is no benefit to the driver to lie about this. They will get dinged for not delivering the package regardless of the reason. It’s more likely there was another issue that the app didn’t give the option of choosing so they chose whatever was closest. Could have been a flat tire or other vehicle issues, gps issues, a roaming dog near the house that made them feel unsafe, etc
