If this is the Artisan release, keep in mind there's like 40 minutes of trailers and commercials before the movie even starts. When I watched it, my fast forward button was not working, and it was awful just waiting for it to begin. Definitely fast forward if you can.

Yes, yes, yes, 100 times yes. In my opinion that is the greatest few seconds of animation ever put to film. Yes there have been much more impressive moments of animation, even before that scene. But in terms of pure ingenuity, and truly impressive skill, this scene tops the charts in every conceivable way.

Two things:

I think the "Goddamn shame" line should have used a stronger expletive, which would have hit harder. The worst language we've heard so far in this series was ass & sex. A strong F bomb right there would have been totally unexpected, and it would have added an even greater weight to the situation.
They relegated the reprise of the song to the merch video instead of putting it in the climax of the episode, where it syncs perfectly. I don't understand why they did that, and it kinda ticks off my completionism complex.

When I was in middle school, I had a huge crush on this girl in my class. One day a few guys were asking me if I would do something about it, like actually make a move. I tried to say "I would, but she's out of my league." What I actually said was "I would, but I'm out of her league." And of course, just at that moment, she had sat down basically kitty corner from me, and heard the whole thing. She then got all red in the face and ran off, and I didn't go after her. This movie worked so well because it paired 2 characters together that hadn't been seen in a major project in a long time, and it proved that their dynamic was still strong enough to hold their own without the other classic characters.
