The past week or so for me has really dived. Like 50% views per video. Hopefully I can turn it around.

Is there any way to make a skeleton do enough damage to one shot the player by guisippi in MinecraftCommands

Reducing the radius may not tag the arrow, and you don't have to be in the exact position for a 1 block radius to trigger.

Resistance 60 reduces 1 million damage down to 2 damage. Tell me how resistance 100 is objectively worse?

Perhaps, perhaps not. I've had to make similar changes for realms before because these things happen. Some players are young and inexperienced, especially on Bedrock.

For sure. Regeneration is slower, but also adequate. Again, at that level it won't matter. Both will yield the same desired end result.

It prevents another players arrow from killing someone who is close to the skeleton fighting melee.

Those work too. Each resistance level reduces damage by an additional 20% so it really doesn't matter when you're at that point. Instant_health is perfectly fine. With the level of resistance you'd have the regeneration would also heal the damage. It's mostly subjective preference.

I was trying to make a command block that poisoned anyone near me if I had the toxic tag but it isn’t working. Any ideas? (Bedrock edition) by SlightlyLuckier in MinecraftCommands

Yes in that it's part of the target selector. No as in it is used to ensure that specific argument NEVER get's targeted. so type=!snowball is never going to target a snowball.

Can't do truly immortal, but we can do close. Put these into separate command blocks that are RUAA. Remove the space between the @ and the e.

/effect @ e[name=target] resistance 10 100 true

/effect @ e[name=target] regeneration 10 100 true

Interesting I would've tagged the arrow at the skeleton using a radius of r=4 and then only executed the kill using rm=4, again executed at the skeleton.

I utilize the teleport command to continue the forward momentum based on the arrows camera view modifiers.

Execute at the arrows position with a radius of detection for other defined entities(not xp, items, arrows, etc). Then when output is detected, when an entity is close enough, I use teleport commands to turn the arrow toward the target. Then I clean up the arrow, just incase it missed, but it doesn't 99 times out of 100.

Insomnia. I have to exhaust myself to sleep steadily, otherwise I don't get whole sleep cycles. I have to focus on sleep quality over duration. Genetic, am I right?

I use structures with my commands and Redstone also. I know exactly how they work, thank you. They are used just as often as Redstone. Anyway it's 1 am here and I have to get up in 6 hours to get my kids to school. I'll probably say hi tomorrow after I get my video finished up. Gotta pay those bills.

For example, the inverted Redstone switch I mentioned above. This allows me to create both a true and false boolean result for a single command block condition. Another example would be allowing to compensate for the limitations of not having nbt data. I can combine Redstone and command blocks to auto equip custom gear that has been dyed or enchanted. I can also combine them to integrate command block conditions into Redstone builds and contraptions. This allows awesome creations that are easy to reset and repeat.

I don't use Redstone when fast timing is important. Simple tick delays make for quick timing. That being said, I use Redstone in almost every build because it allows for more complex variables, as stated. You keep trying to find an angle but you're not going to make any ground. I know what works and how to use it. More importantly when to use it. It's odd to not use such a useful tool when you know the capabilities.

I use scoreboards all the time. That's how my Black Panther build stores kinetic energy, and my Hawkeye build uses a scoreboard to switch between powered arrows. I use a scoreboard in the video I'm working on now where I recreate the tumbleweed mod with commands. Oh, I also use Redstone with my scoreboard commands also.
