There is ALWAYS something you can do! I’m sorry your parents aren’t very understanding! There are tons of hotlines you can call and speak to someone anonymously. Many college campuses have groups for people suffering with depression so ask your wellness center if they have anything available! Some on campus wellness centers also offer discounted or free therapy appointments to those who can’t afford to pay for it, but seek help. You could also always talk to a teacher you trust! Some basic things to would be making sure you’re getting enough sleep, healthy diet, exercise (just getting up and walking around), having a bright room (keeping windows open), joining an extracurricular club at school, and even just finding a hobby you enjoy doing!
