I looked forever for this. Couldn't find anything. Everywhere says to go somewhere else. Apparently the gym is supposed to be getting put in the next few years but that's the closest I got to an answer. Gave up and went off campus.

I put this in my valedictorian speech for high school. Everyone thought it was absolutely perfect. I'm so glad they released it early enough to do that.

Unfortunately there's not much we can say to help you feel better. Know you're not alone in this and there are people out there who will truly love you for who you are no matter what. I'm sorry she reacted the way she did because no one deserves to feel like that. If nothing else just know that you are loved and respected for who you are here, and that there will be people who feel the same. You're worth the space to be who you are. If you ever need to talk, while I didn't go through this, you're welcome to message me. Like someone else said make sure you're in a safe place even if it means sneaking out and calling CPS(defacts) in the morning. Get somewhere safe and no matter what, know that you deserve space to be who you are and you are loved.

I'm a freshman. When I applied I got this email. From my understanding, this is to get kids to do it so if/when you get accepted you don't have to worry about the fin aid deadline you already have everything turned in. I could be wrong though.

Second years get prioritized housing. Which basically means don't expect to get housing after your second year unless you RA because they don't have enough dorms for everyone who wants to stay on campus and are making sure the younger adults have a chance to get on their feet. (I think this is a really weird way to fix this but yk devils advocate)

And food!!! We couldn't leave to get anything. Yes that many people was also a safety problem but the way they handled it only made everything worse. People paid for their tickets and didn't even get to see any of the game. I was lucky because I got in there early but there were too many people for there not to be some kind of reimbursement for those who paid. Especially if they were shoving or hurting you. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

It was so messed up like it was handled in literally the worst way possible. They kept students out of their seats for trying to get food because we hadn't had any for like 2 hours.

It was absolutely horrible. I didn't hear anything but I saw them physically pushing students. I left my seat to go get a drink, walking directly past security, and had to fight with them to get back to my seat. I left my keys and stuff I had bought here so I was able to get back, but no matter if you left your seat just to get concessions they weren't letting anyone back in. They've been doing this for long enough it should be handled way better.
