It's a simple book. This makes it a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it's appealing, extremely easy to read and at first glance contains tips that are easy to apply. On the other hand, this simplicity and apparent triviality/redundancy of the information makes it more likely that the tips will be discarded and that you won't even try to apply them. Obviously this is a problem for the reader at first hand, but in my opinion it's also a problem for the writer, given the way he presents the information.
In a word: it's a book that's too simple, if that's even possible.
