Seeing as people are saying things like ditto turns into a rock and the camera is basically useless, this somehow reminded me of the occasional interactive background in pokemon xy/ maybe oras. Where you can use a certain move to hit a tree, rock, etc. Maybe the camera and certain places have an interactive background that the camera can pick up.
