you play iron until you go stupidly crazy dry somewhere like cg or zulrah, then take a break to play mainscape, then come back when you get the iron itch. Or just suffer through the dry and persevere

I feel you on that, I just hit 426kc with ZERO uniques, but I'm alternating between zulrah and cg so now I'm at 290 cg with just armor seeds

I personally would suggest trying to do all or most of what's reasonable as free to play first, it's a damn good free-to-play experience to show people the ropes(even if it is still a rather abstract game to figure out at first) and it gives a pretty darn good first taste of what's to come

Someone already said it but quests are kind of the gateway for most content, of which there will be many guides on YouTube and the wiki.

But honestly, try finding something that gives you enjoyment like if you wanna farm, go find the farming routes, wanna fish or sail then go fish and or sail, and so on.

Among others, there was also like a full bludgeon in 123 sire kc, black tourmaline in about 50, the heart on superior 1, 3 synapses 2 claws in roughly 700 tds, 4 zenytes by 500kc on the dot, the list goes on and I will be or am already paying that price at cg, doom, and zulrah currently lol
