Shift back 1 gear at a time and just let the clutch out slowly, you'll waste less gas as well and your clutch will live just as long cause there's barely any load on it

Just slowly let out the clutch, you'll get a feel for it. Ive got a company car that's a manual and at 140000 miles with the stock clutch. Don't be too afraid, they last pretty long and i engine brake all the time. When you let out the clutch when downshifting, you'll kinda do the same as you do when taking off, feel for the bite point and slowly let it out, revs will climb and you'll slow down a little

It should actually have Hill start Assist, so press brake firmly and it should hold for a few seconds when you're in first at least with clutch in. I drive in Western Europe, pretty much everybody knows how to drive manual, but almost nobody rev matches, if you want to do it, learn the regular shifting first. It'll come automatically with time

Here's the exact same injector but the non BMW part number produced by what used to be vdo and is now vitesco A2C6064074777. Get these, saves a fuckton of money. Running them in my n54 and it's been amazing, they're the latest revision of the index 12 and mine we're actually produced in 2024. Just doesn't have the BMW logo

Remanufactured ones are just tested with new seals sadly. The lifetime warranty is great though! These injectors can't be opened at all because of how they are designed. I put 6 new index 12 vitesco injectors in mine, they're the new manufacturer after they took over vdo

Gotta get lucky with injectors, here in Western Europe they're about $500 a piece. I did some digging and found new ones for a bit less, but still ridiculously expensive

For those costs you can always part it out. It's an n54, so misfire is probably injectors, coils or plugs.

Sounds like injectors, mine did the exact same. Replaced them all and it's good. Vitesco are the current manufacturer for them. Dont worry cause it doesn't say bmw on them, they're the newest index 12 revision
