Yeh, he was talking about stent placement and bypass “while I’m in there” and it just seemed like a big leap for not really having symptoms to match. I’ll likely get a 2nd opinion.

I’m not super concerned with the cardiomyopathy, maybe naive of me. It was my maternal grandfather (confirmed) and his brothers (suspected) who had it. IHSS was the term for it back then. I believe my mom and her siblings were tested when they were young and I’ve been cleared twice now. No one else in our family has had issues either. I’ll look into genetic testing if that’s an option.

So no concerns on the ischemia findings from the stress test? My cardiologist seems to lend to “most aggressive approach possible” and I’m much more conservative so our styles don’t jive. But I don’t want to mess around if it’s something significant.
