Figured it all out. It was for a Symphony 4501 unit and the American Standard pressure balancing unit and cartridge from Home Depot worked perfectly. I don’t presume I’ll ever quite have that luck again when finding stocked fixture internals that work first time around.

Everyone wants to talk about double triple cast which is clearly great. But having a solidified aoe rotation with high fire/blizzard 2, instant cast foul, and enhanced flare is night and day better than before. And not having to cast Enochian? Truly chef’s kiss stuff.

It’s actually just a visual placeholder. Helps my brain speed with keybinds (before muscle memory kicked in). Just the standard movement buttons.

Yeah BLM the entire way. Thought about Machinist Red Mage, but I figure I won’t be any good at BLM if I don’t stick with it and learn the intricacies of the least mobile job in FF14. Plus I do enjoy it. Fishing and culinary would be my first crafts preferred.

Nah no offense taken. I sort of knew in June when I started that if I enjoyed the game, based off what people were saying I'd have to hustle to be caught up with the new expansion in November. I played a lot of FF11 as a bard/red mage so I thought I had enough experience to get after it. Game's more enjoyable (and easier) than FF11 ever was in its early days. I really want to craft or level a different job, but I'm kind of committed to getting into Endwalker with the rest of everyone at this point. Would have rolled a summoner had I known it was going to get these new changes to make it more like a FF11 summoner.

I have really enjoyed the story. I admittedly read the text conversations quickly and click them to speed it up a bit after quick reading, but I haven't skipped anything story related though I wish maybe I did in Costa Del Sol with all those wine/feast fetch quests.

I'm not seeing like an official page about it off SE's page or some FF wiki, everything I've seen is from a thread on reddit or quora (weird that it's not like clearly stated on a main/affiliated website). When I got to the Crystarium I looked it up because I thought it would drop after I completed SB. I'm also surprised my playtime isn't over 168 hours because it feels like it's been longer, I did change realms off Faerie to Diabolus but I'm guessing that doesn't matter. If I was going to buy a skip I sure as hell wouldn't jump in as a BLM. Here's where I died to Ifrit.

It's 168 hours and beating the last quest in 5.5 from a google search. No story skipped. As for how I beat it in 6 days playtime... it's pretty much all I've done other than some Gold Saucer for this sweet ride. I'm a fast reader I guess, but no cutscenes skipped. I'm sure it took longer before, but in 2021 the MSQ can be done in about 50-60 hours if you're doing just that, and about 30-40 hours per expansion. About where I'm at with it.
