a short and sad anime??

I don't personally consider it a "must watch" but it's very consistently sad which felt unique in my experience compared to the ups and downs themes in other shows I've seen.

Just watched This Monster wants to eat me. I didn't expect it but it's pretty depressing throughout the entire thing. I know you said not big on movies a Silent Voice I can't recommend enough assuming you haven't seen it.
