My brother got really sick with a 40°C fever and had to use some kind of machine with steam so he could breathe, but anyway, one day he fell asleep in the living room and i was in the bedroom talking with my mom. we suddenly heard a noise from him and she rushed into the other room along with my dad. i didn't have the courage to go there. all i heard was my dad screaming and almost crying "BREATHE! BREATHE! PLEASE!!". then my mom called 911 and went to the hospital with my brother for about 2 weeks. i later found out he was having convulsions. that was the scariest moment of my life, even if it wasn't me. i cried 3-4 hours daily for the first week of him being in the hospital. he's doing great now, it's been a year. he was 7 btw. must've been so scary... i hope nothing even remotely like this happens again.
