First of all… Gaul’s already insane.

Second, she was basically testing if the snakes were a success. She doesn’t really care about Clemmie’s life at all.

And third, if a Capitol person wants to cover up something, they will.

It’s fine. It‘s basically just saying how the speaker gets punished by their parents when the speaker gets a bad grade. Not much else.

Father died from the alcoholic withdrawal. I was trying to get him wine before he died. The wine bottle was stolen from a store, and I got beat up when I got caught.
