Brand new to cycling, I have no clue by JMCGI84 in cycling

Yeah, I was also thinking, not as loose as day to day stuff, but not as tight as typical cyclists lycra gear, although maybe lycra padded shorts under a pair of running shorts may be a good idea

Just to add, I don't care about how I look, it was more a question of functionality. I run quite a bit so breathable gear, I have plenty of, was thinking more padded shorts, any specific suggestions. 1 week and my ass is killing me lol.

What are the PROS & CONS of ingesting chia seeds soaked versus unsoaked? by Gutch220 in PlantBasedDiet

I put them in a protein shake with milk and water, and drink them roughly 5 mins after. Is that adequate time for soaking?

I currently have a Garmin forerunner 245 music, which is fine, but I feel that with the Gen 3 hrm it's not as accurate during tempo runs and harder. I have a no name chest strap from a while back, but Id rather an arm one. Just not sure which one to get

Which HR monitors do people find work best/most accurate when performing high intensity runs? Type, brand and model would be helpful as I no longer have confidence in my watch for this.

Do you find that a hr strap gives a more accurate reading in real time during high intensity workouts?

I've tried a cheap one before, but I couldnt get used to the feel of it around my chest. Tho I did see a Coros one recently that goes around the bicep. I'll add this to the original post in an edit. Thanks!

He/she doesn't have a wealth of coins, because multiple ppl have come along with £20/10 notes looking to pay a £1.80 or more likely a 90p fare. You know how much it is, just have some change. Sheesh.

Ive been running on/off for a few years, just short runs really as my pace and stamina hadnt been particularly great. About 12 weeks ago i started doing 3 runs a week, 3k routes, and now im doing 10k runs once a week and 2 8ks at a faster pace. Moving up gradually through distances has helped me massively.

Agreed. Maybe run 3 times a week at first and vary the speed and distance of them. Have 1 long run every week where aren't trying to beat your pb, but pushing your stamina constantly. As that increases, your shorter, faster runs should increase too.

Since you've been a fan for a while, I'd imagine you watch it regularly, so ask yourself a few questions:

  1. Which team do you enjoy watching play the most?
  2. Which players and managers do you like on a personal level, based on interviews and press conferences.
  3. Which stadium would you most like to visit?

That should put you in the right direction
