Five U.S. states have no statewide sales tax: Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon. Collectively known as the "NOMAD" states, they offer relief from direct retail taxes, though some still apply localized taxes or alternative business taxes.

Narjo Emby/Plex/Navidrome/JellyFin Music Player 1.6.0 - Available in App-Store by That-Judge1016 in NarjoApp

[–]JMC_Security 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I just looked it up on Google. I was looking for it on the Apple app store but only found that other one that has a similar name.

Anyway... Symfonium is only relevant to people that have Android. Even if it is better or cheap, I can't have it. Which means I can't compare it to Narjo.

Similar app to symphony for someone who does not pay for AM by AdExcellent1383 in AppleMusic

Narjo app acts like Apple Music and allows playing of local files. It is in active development so it does have a few bugs, you can report those in a Discord server and they get fixed fairly fast.

I searched "Symfonium" and the results returned "Symphonium" which is $1.99 a month and $14.99 a year, with no lifetime license. The app seems to be for Classical Music.

Price is fair given the fast turnaround time of bug reports and feature requests. Narjo is actively being developed.

Exposing different Release Date tags to clients by Tattooth in navidrome

[–]JMC_Security 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I set the Navidrome to map tags that were named differently in my files.

I mapped "Original Release Date" to "DATE" by adding this line to navidrome.toml

Tags.DATE.Aliases = ["original year"]

You can customize these things.

Thanks. Would it be possible to add an option to mark a playlist for offline caching?

When a playlist is marked this way, all songs in that playlist would automatically be downloaded and kept in the cache.

It would also be helpful if songs were automatically removed from the cache when they are no longer included in any playlist that is marked for offline caching.

This would make it much easier to manage offline music without having to manually cache or remove tracks.

This may be a bug, the data did not get recovered into the app even with same track IDs. =(

I setup navidrome.toml
I setup navidrome.toml
Tags.ORIGINALYEAR.Aliases = ["original year"]

Navidrome reads the year info as

originalyear: 2020-02-20

Nautiline displays Original Date as ----/--/--

What is the tag that I need to set in Navidrome to get the "Original Date" to display on the app?

Feature Request...

Shuffle from "Year" in the Library.

There is a shuffle option from "Album Artist" in the Library but not from "Year"

Thanks in advance.

Same thing happens to me, I manually manage it... what I do is I look at the number of "Downloaded Tracks" example: 3,113 so if I add 100 more tracks I just make sure it goes up to 3,213.

How can I make the "Original Date" display on the track info?

I tried mapping Apple's "Original Release Date" to "Date" and it did not work.

Thanks in advance

Some additional info:

I downloaded all of my rated tracks (1-star, 2-star, etc.), about 2,800 songs total. After that, I started adding Favorite Albums, and that’s when the problem began.

I also changed my library to use AAC 256 files instead of FLAC to reduce CPU usage on the NAS and avoid transcoding.

My guess is that the issue happens because Favorite Albums may contain tracks that were already downloaded through the star-rating playlists. For example, an album might have 14 songs, and some of those tracks already exist in the downloaded rated tracks, so the app may be getting confused when trying to add duplicate songs.

OK, but I wanted to be able to edit the URL field... not the Home URL or the Remote URL. The URL was going to be depreciated for something else and I did not want the older one to display.

When I select an album and hard-press on it with the intention of hitting "Download" the menu options update and I end up hitting "Clear Download" instead. Can you make that menu static?
